i have a wedding cake and matching cupcakes to make for mid april. i need to make ALOT of fondant butterflys, which i also need to paint and leave to dry in thier final 3D possition. how early can i start to make them? i want to start as early as possible as they will be very time consuming. Personally, I would start them now. I work a busy job, have 2 little kids and fit things in when I can. The earlier I can safely start, the better. They will harden, but if that's no big deal, then you can begin. Just cover them to keep them dust-free when you're done!

Thank you, i will start them in the morning then. they need to be hard to retain thier shape anyway. i also have 2 small children and a busy job. just didnt want them to go bad. thanks again! icon_biggrin.gif
