Hey guys,

I cant remember where i saw this but it was a diamond band around the tiers of a cake. they looked like real diamonds like someone wrapped thier diamond tennis bracelet around the tier of the cake. does anyone know where to get these diamond strands from? every seach i do only comes up with the individual edible sugar diamonds.

Any help would be great thanks

are you sure they were edible??? I've seen diamond bands like that but they weren't edible....just like a ribbon studded with diamonds.

Yes, the only bands I've seen posted like that are NOT edible. Very pretty though!

I'm beginning to use rhinestone banding quite a bit. Brides LOVE it. I get the high quality metal backed stuff (not on a plastic mesh) and I sanitize it before it goes on the cake. I sell it for $25/yard.

Leah, I suppose it's a single strand? Good price though.

I get mine at Hobby Lobby, $12.99/yard and it is the metal backing. And I have the bride's get it. Actually, any ribbon they want. They get it ahead of time for me. Plus, Hobby Lobby has coupons online. I haven't seen any edible diamond ribbons.
