Does Cream Cheese Icing Have To Be Refrigerated?

buter, cream cheese, vanilla, ps are the ingredients. Left the butter and c' cheese out overnight to come to room temp. What do you all think? TIA

No, you should never leave it out. It is a diary product and can cause tummy problems. I would toss it. Also, eggs really shouldn't be done that way either. Just set eggs out a couple of hours and they will be fine. Also, for cream cheese, if you put in Microwave on about 50% power for 45 seconds, it will be the same as leaving out for hours at a time without the risk!
