when making gumpaste figures using different colours etc., how do you then attach things together once they are dried?...or even if they are not?...example palm trees...how do you attach dried leaves to the stem?

Tylose Glue.... 1/4 tea. tylose... 1 tbl. water... mix/stir with a toothpick... cover.... fridge 3-4 hours.... nice clear glue comes out.... it's perfect for sticking pieces together...

Some people use egg whites also...

If gravity is a factor .... you might have to put some support until it sets... like cotton... or if sticking to the side of the cake... toothpicks.... once it's set.. then remove the support...

Also, if you're attaching something to the side of something else, and it's heavy (like a teddy bear arm), you might want to try melted chocolate. I'm working on 2 teddy bears right now, and that's the only thing I could get to hold up the arm (one is waving, so it's totally in the air). I find that melted chocolate works best for me. Hope that helps!
