Hi all!
I friend of mine's favorite cake is a dark chocolate cake with a banana cream icing. She has since lost contact w/that friend of hers since they went their separate ways after college and has never been able to find the cake since. I'd love to be able to re-create this cake or something as close to it as possible. She says the cake was a heavier cake and that the banana cream icing was very light. Does anyone have any recipe like this? She tells me her friend said it was a family recipe which may explain why she's never found it again! Just so you know, I am a scratch baker and I am willing to experiment. I appreciate any suggestions!!
