I am preparing for my son's first birthday party in March and I just starting working with MMF. I want to make the cut outs for the cake a few days in advance. What do I glue them on the cake with? Thanks a bunch!

If you're gluing fondant to fondant, just use a little bit of water as the glue. If you're putting the cutouts on buttercream, then use a little bit of buttercream to adhere them. Hope this helps. icon_smile.gif

Water works, so does buttercream but my teach also taught me to use Vodka.

I've used water thus far but have also heard vodka works really well.

I've used fondant "glue" (take gumpaste and dilute it with water until it forms a paste), but I like to use royal icing the best. It seems to dry faster.
