I need some advice. I am baking for a valentines dinner this weekend. This cake will be three tiers 12-10-8. The layers are going to have to be frozen but I am unsure of how to wrap them.

The tops of cakes are still a little sticky even after air drying for an hour. If I wrap them in Saran wrap and freeze are they going to be ok? I am afraid that when I take them out and unwrap them that the plastic wrap is going to pull apart the cake.

Any tips for me???

Thanks for any advice icon_biggrin.gif

I wait until mine are cool to the touch and then wrap them in triple layers of plastic wrap and put them in a plastic bag, then the freezer. I've never had issues with the wrap tearing apart my cake.
