Cleaning Your Bake Even Strips

I just made a cake and it spilled over the sides (big mess in my oven) But my question is how do i clean the strips? can i just through them in the wash?

I've never put mine in the washing machine but I have hand washed them in a sink full of hot sudsy water.

I have had my set for years and I wash them in the kitchen sink with dish soap. Squeeze out as much water as possible and then take an old bath towel and roll them up and get more water out and then hang to dry.

I put mine in the washing machine with kitchen towels. I didn't dry them though, just let them air dry.

I had the same thing happen. I found that once they were dry, all the cake spillage just flaked right off!

I wash mine in a lingerie bag in the machine on gentle and air dry
