I have been asked to do this wedding cake, I have not committed yet, as I wanted to do some research and practice. Cake appears to be oval tiers with round tier on top. Are the sides piped with butter cream? Has anyone done flowers like this? Acrylic tube? Any input or suggestions appreciated.

Sorry I do not know who did this cake or were the bride got the pic. Sorry I cannot give credit

It does look like it's buttercream with lines piped on the sides. And I would think the real flowers would stand up well in acrylic tubes set into the cake. Looks like the divider just has stems around it..probably glued or double stick taped. A very pretty cake!

thanks, catlharper. It always helps to have a second set of eyes look at it.
