I recently bought a 3D teapot mold for chocolate....turned out good except for handling so much took the shine off of it..i used food handling gloves too...does anyone have any hints to keep it from doing that again or to get the shine back?

Fingerprints will definitely ruin the best molded chocolate. I use a pair of cotton gloves purchased at our local pharmacy. They keep them usually behind the counter and you have to request them to be ordered most of the time. They are thicker than the cotton gloves I've seen sold in the cake stores. It's amazing how just the warmth of your fingers can turn the chocolate cloudy.

Good luck and hope this helps!
