Hi ladies Im doing a sesame street thened cake for my little boys 1st bday.

Im going to incorporate the ideas if a cake that jaklotz1 and kawaiicakecook have done. Only that I wish to add a 3rd tier to that cake and I really wanted to put the sesame street neighboor hood all around the bottom. I just dont really know how to execute it as far if I should do each little building by hand by piping it or just fondant cut outs. Or should I just do an edible image? And just outline some parts.

I have added a pic of the neighboorhood Im talking about. Also a pic of the cake.
Any and all ideas are welcome. I keep trying to come up with something a little diferent but Im just .................. without any ideas icon_confused.gif

Any help will be greatly appreciated or if you have pictures of something similar please may I see them.

Thank you ladies for reading.

I would think fondant cut-outs would be easier.

Also, since the bottom tier would be blue (if you keep w/ the blue of the sky), I would make the top tier red, so that you have all 3 primary colors.

It's going to be one cute cake! Can't wait to see the pics of your finished work!
