I watch on the cake shows and they put multipule sheets of fondant on a cake but they never show how they get them smooth. Help!

I am not sure , but I think they use modeling chocolate on a lot of the bigger cakes where they will have to layer more than one sheet. I have never used it, but I have heard that it is much easier to blend together.
