has anyone else noticed the ads for "adobe photoshop lightroom" on here? i clicked on it and saw it was $300 to download? does anyone know anything about this program? it sure does have some purttty pics on there, lol!

I haven't seen the ads but I have tried the program.

It it best used when editing raw photos to make an image look much better.

Never tried it, but FYI - Amazon has it on sale today for $188.

If you're going to spend $300, just spend a little more and get full PhotoShop. It's worth it. icon_smile.gif

Hey!

I am a wedding photographer by day, actually looked into using Lightroom for my work... but ended up sticking with using Adobe Bridge (Comes with the Adobe CS Suite) combo'd with Photoshop. Both softwares are pricey but on a professional level, well worth it. However if when shooting your photos if you do not shoot in RAW format (verses JPG) these softwares are not really useful to you.
