Football Helmet

I would like to make a football helmet. What size pans do I need? And at what point do you make the face mask? If I make it ahead of time to give it time to dry and harden, how will I know what size to make it? If any one could help I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Lucina icon_cry.gif
