I made a cake for a friend's retirement. Everyone kept saying how great it looked and some higher ranking members pulled my husband aside and told him I needed to make the cakes for all base functions. well, I am just a hobby baker, so the first thing that popped in my mind was all the discussions on "your cakes are great, you should sell them" and it made me laugh.
(I'm a nurse, I know I have no cake business skills, and would never even attempt to sell) It's funny though, that I thought of my CC family! Oh, and I felt extra proud when I saw the base commander sneak up for a second piece!! Made all the stress worth it.
