When I make it, the WASC recipe yields approx. 6-1/2 cups of batter. A 16-inch square pan holds 15-1/2 cups of batter. So, about 2-1/2 recipes of WASC.
More importantly -- will a 16 inch square pan fit in your oven? It doesn't fit it mine. I have to make 8 8-inch squares for a 2-layer 16-inch. What a pain.
