So this wasn't an actual disaster in that the cake was made well, but it was just nasty to look at. My dad ordered this for a friend who hurt his foot doing something stupid. It is chocolate cake carved from a 10" square and stacked/carved down. Fondant and airbrushed.

Weird things happen all the time to make people order odd cakes that just happen to fit the bill at the time. We had a guy who wanted a birthday cake to bust his buddies chops. They had been delivering firewood to a farm. They got out of the truck, the guy picked up an armful of wood and carried it to where it was going. He put the wood down, turned around and there was a goat. The goat followed him back to the truck, to the woodpile, to the truck, everywhere he went. So, since this guys birthday was the following week, they wanted a goat head with red lipstick and hearts in it's eyes. We always have to explain that story to people when they see the photos..... LOL

I work for a podiatrist and I think this is beautiful. I have seen some real feet that look like that and smell like it looks.
