I would love to see a contest that relates to different pans. i.e. Most creative use of a heart shaped pan. It seems like such a waste to only pull out, say the jack-o-lantern pan, only once a year. I would love to see and hear about alternate ideas on how people use the sports ball pans or the doll dress mold pan.
great idea, and maybe we can just post our unusual ideas for the pans. I used half the wilton ball pan this Christmas for my penguin igloo and the wonder mold doll pan for a toadstool.
It's not a pan, but I've used my Pyrex glass two cup measuring cup to bake a big cupcake. I only needed one and I don't have a jumbo cupcake pan.
I've also used half of the Wilton sports ball pan for a helmet.
heart shaped pan - boobs/ cosert/ bikini, bum/ underwear. also good for broken hearted!
bowl/ ball pan - use half to to make a dragon (could also be the wonder mould (the dress pan i think?), id cut in half, or end to end).
dress pan - mountains/ volcanoes

Heart pan: uniform. Like the one on here:

or like a band uniform. I have a picture of a cake like that, but danged if I can find the attachment button.
That's a good one -
I've seen the witches hat & a broom from the wonder mold/dress pan, also good for the english pudding.
With the Wonder Mold pan I made the yellow hat from Curious George and also made Ruff Ruffman from PBS show Fetch.
Here's my Ruff cake.

And here is what Ruff is really supposed to look like!!

Great ideas! I saw the green eggs & ham cake - I guess I could use the wonder mold & turn it on the side to make the ham?????
i used the wilton sports ball pan for my thanksgiving turkey
