I have a grandma that saved her grandson's booties for his baby shower cake. Now he is having a girl...any idea's on what to do with blue 30 year old booties when he is having a little girl!!!!! help it needs to be done this sat. please and Thank you
Blue and white gingham patterns are great for little girls cakes -- add some white flowers with blue centers and the blue baby booties with ribbons and you're right in there! ![]()
You might also recreate the blue booties in pink fondant for the top of the cake.
why does a cake for a girl have to be pink?
I'm with ya, Gottabake...I say girl booties can be black and purple striped if they wanna be!
But I do like the idea of the blue gingham with white flowers if you can't change the blue color theme.
make fondant bottle of pink shoe dye.
place next to booties
"we just dyeing to have <name> as part of our family"
you come up with the best ideas...so glad you share them
