I'll throw some love to some of the "lesser" stop-motion animated movies:

1. Santa Claus is Comin' To Town, narrated by Fred Astaire. It's not Christmas in my house until the Burgher Meister Meister Burgher has banned toys from Sombertown.

2. Nestor the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey. Watch it without crying, I dare you.

3. A Christmas Story. I saw the original in the theaters and didn't really understand it, but my mom laughed the entire way through. So glad it's endured and become a classic.

1. The Polar Express
2. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon version)
3. Elf

This is a real no brainer for me:
1) Christmas Story
2) It's a Wonderful Life
3) Muppet Christmas Carol (Just too funny) We have to watch this one every year.

I am with elizabeth-jane and 7yyrt, I can not watch A Christmas Story. I actually can not even say why, there is no real reason, I just do not like it.

1. Grinch (cartoon)
2. Bad Santa/ National Lampoons
3. Love, Actually (does not really count but its Christmas time in the movie)
