That doesn't necessarily mean you have to be. I would never be embarrassed if my DH didn't know something at which I excelled.

Go to shrinkpictures.com and do it there,you can choose what size you want it to be then download it. Easy peasy.

You can download an Add On to Windows - it allows you to right click on one or several pics and RESIZE - it also saves as a COPY so does not change your original pic (same file name with SMALL written beside it)

And the problem with having a geek for a husband is I never have to learn for myself. I swear a good 3 time a year I say "Oh no I clicked on this thing and now everything went black"....then he spends a good 2 hours fixing what ever i infected my poor system with. Good thing he loves me !
