How does my teddy bear looks? Is it missing anything? Does it look girly?
It's for a babyshower, and it's a girl. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

I think it's cute. And yes, girly. If I were to change anything it would be to make the rose at the ear a bow. But truly, that's being nitpicky.

I think it's adorable and girly. I thought the same thing as catlharper when I saw it. If you change or add anything, a bow would be cute!

its really cute, and I agree with above, that a bow at the ear would be perfection....ut its great the way it is too

Yep, super cute, I'd just add eyelashes too, girly without it being overdone extreme pink.

Ooh eyelashes are a great idea!
I have a few questions. What did you use for the fur? is it fondant? How did you get it to look like that?

I think all the suggestions are good. It looks great but it looks like a boy bear.

I think I would switch out as much black as possible for pink like the nose, mouth, foot pads and ears.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I'll definately add a bow. K8memphis, the foot pads,ears etc.. are dark brown My sister in law wants to avoid an all pinkish babyshower as well as the clothes, shoes etc.., so that's why i didn't make them pink.

I got this idea from a video on youtube. I just entered "How to make a fondant teddy bear" on the search section and the video titled "How to make a shaggy fondant teddy bear" by Michelle Cake, came up. But basically you just make your bear as you normally do and with some small sharp scissors you make the cuts all over, then you add the eyes, nose foot pads, well everything that is in dark brown and that is it.[/quote]
