Hello everyone I am really happy to be a part of the CC forum. Don't quit remember when I joined but I believe it was just before Thanksgiving. I have been busy trying to read several of these topics and boy there is so much information out there that my head is spinning. Have not be able to post much because of the endless hours I spend on hear reading these threads. (Don't want to keep repeating questions that were already asked and answered) So thought it would be best to search what I wanted to ask and see if I can find the answers.

There is so much information on here I just don't know where to start....do I make cookies first, or small cakes, or cake balls etc. boy so many choices.

I have been baking cakes for many years now but nothing at all like these cakes here. I guess you can really say I'm a true beginner at making cakes.

I now ordered the DVD from Linda and can't wait for it to arrive so I can make designs with my Cricut expression machine that I've had for about 2 yrs now, which I've used to make cards, scarpbooks etc. with. Now that I've read you can use those designs on your cake....just can't wait.

I do have an embosser as well and will be trying out my fondant on that as well when I get ready to make a cake.

Hi, good to have you aboard! Yes, this site is truly addicting. I have to be careful to limit my time here at the computer so I can spend more time in the kitchen. Cakes await and there are so many new techniques to try. Will look forward to seeing your cakes.
