I am in literally the same boat. I have a 3 1/2 year old in p/t preschool and a 17 month old home full time. I am in culinary school on weekends and just took a part time job working in a bakery which I am questioning even makes sense. I will be out of the house doing cakes 30-35 hours a week but what I will make and what I have to pay in daycare barely washes. I also have been trying to start up a business and I think at this point makes more sense focusing my time and energy on me. I had been juggling to maximize nap time and preschool time when I only had 1 or even no kids at my ankles to work on the business stuff, updating website, returning calss, etc and then using evenings to d othe caking itself. Late hours but maximized my mom time during the day so was worth it for me. Go for it, mama!!
