Please Help With Eyes On A Figurine

I am in the process of making a figurine looking at a book. Where would I place the highlight on the black of the eye. If some would please help me, I would appreciate it.

Yes, a tiny dot of white on the pupil creates a more realistic eye.

I don't think the position of the white dot is as important as the position of the pupil. For someone looking down, reading a book, the pupil should be at the bottom of the eye and then (think of a square box) I would put the white dot on the upper left corner.
