Hi Everyone-
I'm probably asking a really dumb question (I know, there are no dumb questions! icon_smile.gif ) but, my frosting is breaking off after the cookie dries.
The royal icing white base is perfectly fine and smooth. However, when I put little dots or anything else on them they fall off if I even look at them wrong after drying.
Any tips or tricks?
Thanks!

Add a couple tablespoons of corn syrup to your royal icing (per one pound of sugar). It will still dry hard, but be less crumbly.

You don't have to remake your icing. Just beat the corn syrup into what you already have.

The corn syrup will also make your RI more shiney.
