What is the best way to cut foam core?

With a hot knife, available at Michael's and Hobby Lobby and various other craft stores.

I don't know the best way.

But I use a steak knife and then I sand off the edge.

I wish, but my hobby Lobby does not carry the hot knives. Joanns here doesnt either

No...the blades screw into the knife. You buy packages of replacement blades that fit the hot knife tool.
