Ok, so I do make cakes sometimes, but I LOOVE to make cupcakes. I love to experiment with flavors and combinations. But my daughter works in a bakery and won't eat them and my DH is not a big sweet person. So everyone in the school office (where I work) reaps the rewards of my experments.
So, last week was my birthday. We always do cakes and cards for the birthday person. So when they called me out to give me my cake, they told me that I had to turn around for my card. When I turned around, they had filled a large basket with baking supplies. I had flour, sugar(all kinds) baking powder, butter even fresh eggs from someones farm. I couldn't believe how kind everyone was.
After reading how some work people expect the goodies to keep coming, I thought that I would share that some people really do appreciate what you do for them (even though it does benefit them in the end with me baking more!!!)![]()
That is wonderful! Yes, it did make me smile ![]()
