The tutorial to cover a cake with the fondant ribbons. It was done in Christmas colors, there were pictures of each step. The ribbons were red, green and white. They went from the center of the single tier cake over the side to the bottom in varying widths. Then there was a multi-looped bow on top of the cake. I can't find the link or the tutorial here any longer. Thanks to anyone who can find it.
I don't know about a Christmas cake, but here's a link to an article on making the fondant bow: http://cakecentral.com/articles/77/how-to-make-a-fondant-loop-bow
Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was needing! I thought I'd saved it but, couldn't find it.
I thought I did too....I googled how to apply fondant stripes...I found the link to the flickr site was inside another cake forum. It's on CC too, I just can't remember where ...
