I just made a new recipe today out of Warren Brown's cookbook "Cake Love"....and I have to say that I'm so glad I bought this book.
His pound cakes are killer....his lemon cake is the best I've ever made,or eaten...today I made the Rum Runner, I made it into cupcakes to go under my Mai Tai frosting...it's wonderful.

If you haven't seen his recipes, you should...worth the money.

I didn't like his yellow butter cake, but I've tried multiple other recipes and have been extremely pleased with the results.

He's so mellow and laid back. I miss his show on Food Network. I have not tried any of his recipes, so thanks for the tip. I'm always looking for good pound cake recipes.

Meeeeeee toooooooooo!!! I received "Cake Love" for Christmas last year, and I LOVE it!

I just ate one of the Rum Runner's ..... I didn't think I would like the rum syrup on it, but tried it anyway..... Yummmmmmyyyyyy!
