I am tired and feeling a bit overwhelmed (okay and lazy )

I need to redo a couple of dummies that are covered in fondant. Can I airbrush new color on top and just re-decorate or does it not really work like that?

I've airbrushed fondant before..............these cakes were all covered in white fondant and then airbrushed!!
