Has anyone ever heard or made a chocolate cake and added strawberries to the mix before baking the cake???

If you have can you please let me know how to do it ...and how does it taste?

I haven't made a chocolate cake with strawberries in the batter before, but one of my biggest requests is a deep chocolate cake with fresh, (or sometimes I use frozen) strawberry filling. So the taste goes together well. I do sometimes add chopped peaches in a cake batter and that works well. Perhaps you might try it with the strawberries, I don't measure, just add. With that combination I doubt you'd go wrong. Good luck.
