Ok im new at doing different flavors and cakes and have not been doing this for anyone really besides family, i have a request for an italian cream cake and i have never made one, what is the best icing to use with it?

both Paula Dean and Emeril use cream cheese frosting for their It. Cream cakes

I like a cream cheese icing with coconuts and pecans in it. Yummy!

Yup, cream cheese is the traditional frosting w/ that cake.
