Black Decorator Frosting!! Help

hi, Can someone help me. I need to make black frosting, i have never used black and am not sure how to do it, should i start with white? or maybe chocolate? PLEASE HELP icon_smile.gif I am doing a hot pink and black cake for my daughters bday and it has to be BLACK BLACK or it won't look good icon_smile.gif Thanks.

If you are making it from scratch, start with chocolate OR, if you just need it for piping, Wilton has black buttercream in a tube icon_wink.gif

Get Chefmaster color. It gets very black. I have never been able to really black with wilton gel. If you don't have that then start with brown and go from there.

Dotto!!! If you want true black and you want it fast with no after taste this is the only kid of color to use. Same goes for red or any other color. thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif
