Quick Question On Bc And Fondant

I have apparently whipped so pretty big air pockets in my BC, because I have a whole bunch of craters in it... I am covering this with fondant... will the holes show? I kno any bumps will but dont kno about the holes...

When I have covered mine, the holes I had did not show. I had a baby blue color though. Good luck.

Put the cake in the fridge for a little while and then smooth it out with your hands before you put the fondant on, if you've got a crusting buttercream.

Pipe bc into those holes and smooth it with a hot spatula.

I think it depends on how thick you roll your fondant weather they would show or not.. I would go with Texas Rose on this one and smooth them best you can. better safe than sorry.. those darned ol air bubbles.. I feel your pain...

Thanx all! I smoothed it and i think that this is the best fondant job yet... KNOCK ON WOOD! Not quite done yet but the cake is covered!
