I am making flowers and have my dust to paint on. What can I use instead of Vodka to wet the dust?

Thanks

Pure lemon extract works well

Be sure if you are using lemon extract to make the mixture extremely thin. Extract dries and thickens very quickly and then you have a real mess. Actually, the best method is to use the luster dust dry then steam it either with a clothes steamer or via a tea kettle. It sets the dust and and provides the shine you desire yet will not streak as vodka and extracts can.
