It is the yummiest cake recipe, you will ever make(Doctored box cake that is) I cut the sugar in half, because I find it to be too sweet, and it taste great.

Look in my signature at the gourmet flavors recipies, and you will find it there, also many more doctored box cake recipies, which I have made plenty and they taste great,

This is the BEST doctored cake recipe (I use Rebecca Sutterby's version) I have ever tasted! I used it once and have not looked back since!

Yes, WASC is white almond sour cream, but what confused me at first is that some people use the term to mean "doctored cake mix." I've seen several references to "WASC" recipes that don't use a white cake mix...or almond flavoring...or sour cream.

Can you substitute the almond flavor for vanilla & will it still be the same, It's that my daughter is allergic to almonds?

I'm allergic to tree nuts and only use vanilla. It's absolutely fine. Honestly, even before I became allergic I never used almond extract because I didn't like the flavor.
