I love the pics and posts about the Christmas Ornament Cakes- but how in the world do you make them? I like the completely round ones, but would love step-by-step instructions for both styles. Any info would be so greatly appreciated - especially with holidays approaching. Would love for these to be gifts for co-workers.

Bump.. I would like to see examples, I'm not really sure what we're talking about, but they sound neat.

I made mine using a cupcake on the bottom and the mini ball pan for the top. http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=1169428
