I teach pre-k students on Sunday morning. One of my students had her 5th birthday yesterday and her mom ordered the cake from me. Avery (the little girl) wanted a chocolate cake shaped like a pumpkin . They came by to pick it up on Friday and the parents were thrilled with it. They said "I'm so glad we didn't get it from xxx'. Avery got a big smile on her face when she saw it but she is also pretty shy. Today, I asked her if she had a pumpkin cake yesterday and she got a great big smile on her face and shook her head yes. She was still pretty shy today so that was a big reaction from her.

It's the pumpkin in my photo's with 'Avery' on it. I was pretty pleased with it too since I had never made anything quite like this before.
