I thought I'd share my "Rooster" cake with you. It was made for a woman who turned 60 and was in love with roosters and bright colors. The roosters were cut from a cookie cutter out of fondant. After the rooster dried, the rooster was filled in with cut pieces of fondant and glued on with gumpaste glue. After the roosters dried, I painted them with a mixture of corn starch and vodka (50/50) to give them a high gloss shine.

I am new at trying to post a photo, so I am hoping the photo comes through.
