I'm heading Stateside on Monday for a week! I'll be in central Massachusetts and was wondering what type of shops sell Wilton's Cake Release (it costs so much over here...)? Do I need to go to a Michael's or similar or will places like Wal-Mart sell it?

All of the Michael's stores normally carry it. They have both the spray and the brush-on types. Sometimes I am able to find it at Wal-Mart, but they seem to vary by store and are not as consistant as Michael's.

Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Wal-mart all sell it. You can probably find it in party/cake supply stores aswell. Have you ever made your own? Just mix an equal qty of flour, shortening & oil together. It keeps for ages & works just as well. icon_smile.gif

JoAnn Fabrics sell Wilton products as well icon_biggrin.gif

I was going to say the same, the homemade oil, flour & shortening are fantastic! Works like a charm each and every time! I mix 1 cup of each together...you will love it!
