Hi
I am making a Halloween cake for a friends daughters birthday and was planning on molding part of it with RCT for the first time.
I was wondering do you just use the basic rice krispy treat recipe on the rice krispy box? or does it need to be modified to get better molding ability out of it?
Like said never used RCT before so if anyone can give me any tips that would be great.
Also can you make the RCT up the day before cover in syran wrap and mold the next day?
Thanks for any and all input.

If you take out the butter it sets up harder. I had always used the traditional recipe, and then I took a course with Colette Peters, who recommended not using butter. It works pretty good, but you have to work fast as it hardens quickly.
