Hi All,

I am doing an 8 tier Wedding Cake (3*6", 3*9", 10", & 14") for this Saturday for my niece. Since this is my first big cake I have some questions.

I've been able to bake 4 layers per night since Sunday (since I work full time during the week). I just have two more layers to bake tonight. I've been freezing them wrapped in plastic and aluminum foil.

If possible, I would like to start frosting them the day before. Is it possible to frost the cakes with Pastry Pride the day before?

Does the base cakeboard have to be covered with foil paper? Or is it ok just to use the plain board?

Thank you,
Marbs

I'm not sure what "Pastry Pride" is, but you should be able to frost the day before. Other threads have indicated that for a Sat. delivery most start icing on Thurs. and decorate on Fri. Hope this helps.
