I know each state is different

I filed Ficticious Name
Got Federal ID - filed as Sole Proprietor
Found Commercial Kitchen to rent
Had it inspected
Got City License
Got County License

On Monday I take the Safe Food Handling test.

Need to get insurance and a CPA.

Am I forgetting anything?

I can't believe that they haven't licensed home kitchens here in FLA yet. Renting commercial kitchens can be a real pain icon_cry.gif

They don't allow home kitchens in Ky and there are NO commercial kitchens to rent in these rural areas at all. I'm still looking.

I wanted to use my business name so I filed as "Scheff Bakes" which really isn't a ficticious name it's my real name and "Scheff" is pronounced chef.

I'm probably missing something cause I'm just going through the motions, have no clue what I am doing but I can bake really good stuff.
