Hi CCers! Ok the deal is im a gumpaste virgin icon_redface.gif I just made a batch of gum paste last night and im waiting for it to set for about 24 hours. I will be using gum paste for my Hummer car accessories and was thinking of silver accessories i bought silver luster dust. I was wondering when to apply the luster dust? is it after the accessories dries up or I can apply the luster dust in the gumpaste and let it dry?
TIA CCers

Mix it with vodka or everclear and paint it on after your pieces have dried.

You can dust it dry or paint it wet like Loucinda suggested. If you plan to paint it, make sure you have a really nice soft brush to avoid visible streaks.

Loucinda hit the nail on the head. icon_smile.gif

If you want a brighter, shinier silver, mix one part pearl dust to 2 parts silver highlighter dust. Add vodka and paint away!

Yup! Mix with Vodka and paint on once your gumpaste pieces are completely dry.
