I am making a 4 tier square wedding cake next weekend. I have recently started purchasing Magic Line and Fat Daddios Pans at a local wholesaler that gets them in every once in a while. Of course they don't have the sizes that I need so I have to order a couple more square pans and can't decide which brand to buy. My other square pans are Fat Daddios. Do you have a preference? The cake is going to be buttercream. Thank you so much!!!!!

I love my ML pans. I wouldn't buy anything else... the quality of those pans is so good.

I have one FD and hate it. It is always the very last pan I reach for.

So, are these Magic Line? They look like it, but I don't see that written anywhere.

No, I don't think so. Magic Line is produced in So. CA. I live within driving distance to their warehouse and go buy directly from them.

I looked at the website for Lloyds and they are in Washington State.

I don't know whom Lloyd's sells their pans to, but they say that those companies just stamp their logos on the bottom of the finished pans. I like their pans, they are thick aluminum and very nice. They also have hard to find large sizes. They used to have a list on their site of who they sold to but it disappeared with the website revisions.
