I saw a picture of a lab top cake in the gallery. Please does any one have an idea on how the screen is made to stand up right? I would very much appreciate any help. Thanks.

if you or someone you know is handy with a table saw:

get 1/2" or 3/4" plywood.

cut to shape of base of laptop cake

about 1" or so from what will be the BACK of the laptop -- cut a groove that is 1/4" wide and the width of the board -- this groove should be on a slant of somewhere between 60 and 30 degrees.

get piece of 1/4" luan. cut to shape of screen. put into slot. stack cake and have at the detailing.
