Hi all
I'm new to this forum I have search for more info on mini cakes and have not found any info on them. How big are mini cake? Are there special pans or do you use a sheet cake and cookie cutters in various sizes?
All of you out there are pretty amazing decorators and I hope one day to have the skills that you all possess.
Also what are cake dummies has anyone out there use the great foam and if so does it hurt your pans.
Thanks in advance for your help

Praising God for you!

I just ordered some mini cake tins from www.globalsugarart.com they have tins that have exact size for mini cakes. You can do it the cookie cutter way I guess, but that would take some time! Just search on global sugar art for mini cakes and it will pull them up. Cake dummies are just that they are stryofoam fake cakes to practice on, if you see cakes in the window shop those are what those are.
