In my fondant work I noticed that it also depends on the fondant brand that you use, if it is store bought. When I first began a few years ago I started with the wilton brand. Then I started to use Satin Ice and never went back. It iwas a world of difference, both in taste and ability to manipulate the fondant.

We love Fondarific ever since we met the ladies in Orlando. The fondant, if torn, heals very nicely. The tastes are wonderful and are also good to use as fillings for filled chocolates. We prefer using Fondarific for covering cakes and have much better luck than when we use any of the other brands.
