I'm donating blood tonight for my granddaughter's blood drive at school. The lady in the chair next to me is talking to the blood tech person about how she's switched to Splenda "... but just for coffee. I still use real sugar for baking."

I looked over and said, "Using Splenda for baking is so expensive!"

She said, "It sure is! Do you use it?"

I said, "I make wedding cakes and I've tried it a couple of times for a diabetic cake and I couldn't BELIEVE how much I had to use and how much it cost and how thin the cakes baked up! I just don't do those anymore."

Well lo and behold turns out this lady is engaged! Out comes my biz card out of my pocket and into her hand! Then the blood tech lady asks for a card, "....even tho' he doesn't know we're going to need a wedding cake someday!"

Just goes to show that you never know WHERE you might pick up a new customer!
